It can't get anymore simple, and this can be used for everything from breakfast with waffles or pancakes or German Pancakes and fresh fruit to topping for pies. Just don't read the label on the cream carton and you should enjoy it just fine ;)
Ingredients:
Cream
Granulated Sugar
Pour the COLD cream (it could be half a carton or a whole carton it doesn't matter) into a kitchen-aid mixer that is cold (as in not warm because you just washed it in hot water). Whip it on high for several minutes. You will need to slowly make your way up to high so as not to splatter. Somitmes I put a cloth over the mixer for the first minute or so because I don't want to have so many splatter drips all over. Once is begins setting up, slowly add sugar (usually about 1/4 cup sugar to 1 cup cream). Continue whipping until it is the perfect, soft, stiffness kind of like cool-whip. Be careful not to over-whip or it will eventually turn to butter- I speak from experience.
Hold yourself back. Nothing beats homemade cream.
