These had a light, delicious taste to them. Very easy meal.
4-8 pork chops
a little vegetable or olive oil
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 can chicken broth (14 ounces)
1/2 cup water
1 small onion
1 pkg frozen peas
1/2 tsp salt (I just use a sprinkle)
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp terragon
poultry season to sprinkle on pork chops
In a large skillet over medioum heat, brown pork chops in oil; remove. Add th eremaining ingredients to skillet. Place pork chops over the rice mixture. Sprinkle the chops with a little poultry seasoning. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
